The Beginning

DISI was born in 2022, when a Ukrainian woman, displaced by war, discovered a new path through yoga and mindfulness. From months of wandering came a profound reconnection — with her body, her emotions, and the world.

It was through yoga and tantra that she began to heal. Slowly, she rediscovered her sensitivity, her emotions, her capacity for love and openness to the world. The practice didn't just restore her — it transformed her.

From this profound reconnection came an idea: to create clothing that could help other women experience the same awakening. Not through words, but through the simple, intimate act of silk touching skin.

The Awakening

Through the practice of yoga, she found stillness amid chaos. She began to understand the language of her own body — its need for softness, for beauty, for touch that feels like care. Silk became her answer.

Each DISI piece is crafted from 100% Grade 6A mulberry silk — the finest quality available. The designs are intentional: fluid, feminine, and free. Clothing that moves with you, not against you.

Founder & Creative Director. Born in Ukraine, shaped by the world. Yana created DISI as a love letter to resilience — and to every woman who has ever had to rebuild herself from the inside out.
